My name is Shane Cronley and I am a father,husband and a retired Firefighter/EMT who has suffered and battled against Rheumatoid Arthritis since 2006. Shane also has degenerative disc disease, osteoporosis and spinal atrophy which has contributed to his L5-S1 back surgery in April 2018. In my 1st book "The Man with Rheumatoid Arthritis" This story talks about his early life, joining the military, early signs of RA, working as a firefighter overseas, responding to emergency calls while in severe pain and limited mobility, overcoming alcoholism, struggling with depression and suicidal thoughts, medications, and providing for his family. This book is for anyone who may be struggling and fighting against severe disabilities or just day to day issues. Hopefully his story gives inspiration to keep fighting another day. My 2nd book " Helping Daddy Make an American Flag". Follow the wonderful story of a father and his two young children making a wooden American flag. This is a great story to help young children learn about every part of the American flag. A brief lesson is given explaining what each part of the flag represents. It may even inspire kids to get involved in woodworking.
