Her short story “C’est ton tour” was one of the ten award winning stories in the world short story competition “Utopia 2005 – Dis auteurs du monde entier” Nantes, France. Her short story “Vassil” was one of the ten award winning stories in Radio BBC World Short Story Competition 2005. In Bulgaria Zdravka Evtimova won twice ZLATEN LANEZ national short story award (2006, 2010), STARSHEL short story award, ANNA KAMENOVA national fiction writing award, BALKANI award for best short story by a Balkan author, The union of the Bulgarian Writers’ Award for her novel “Thursday” etc.
