Woody Overton was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in 1970. He was raised in the small town of Clinton, Louisiana by his parents, who are both attorneys and credits his mother with his love of books. Woody is married, with 4 children. He presently resides in Maurepas, Louisiana where he enjoys spending time with his family on their pontoon boat, shrimping, crabbing, hunting and all things Louisiana! Woody recently retired from his successful career in law enforcement where he was a detective, investigator and polygraphist. He is self employeed as a polygraphist, and security consultant.
