Will Pearson left home aged 15 to join the Royal Navy. Seven years, two world tours and a deep suntan later, he won a scholarship to Ruskin workers’ education college, Oxford. Against the odds, Oriel College then accepted Will to read French. After various careers, Will turned his hand to writing. His military experience and contacts led to a breakthrough book, the best-selling Tornado Down. Its strong sense of story, fast pace and direct, engaging language have since become a trademark style, not least in books under his own name such as the Daily Mail-serialised Death Warrant. As a ghost-writer, Will tries to catch the unique ‘voice’ and character of his subjects, and has ghosted many more books, including the best-selling Gangs with Ross Kemp. He has also produced and scripted documentaries for Channel 4 and Discovery Channel, and written for The Financial Times, The Daily Mail, The Mirror, Africa Today and many more. In 2010, Will co-published two new books: 'Go! Go! Go!' with Rusty Firmin, a factual account of the 1980 Iranian Embassy siege; and 'Bullet Magnet' by Mick Flynn, CGC, MC & Will Pearson, a searing ghosted biography of Britain's most decorated modern warrior. A Household Cavalry Warrant Officer, Mick has been in the thick of war: Northern Ireland; the Falklands; the Gulf War and two tours of Afghanistan. More recently, Orion Publishing asked Will to write 'Unsolved Mysteries,' which probes unresolved enigmas from the Mary Celeste to UFOs. Will is currently writing a crime novel under a pen name.
