Hi! Thanks for visiting me here! In 1996 I opened an art center in an old (formerly a crack house) in Nashville, TN with ZERO (truly!) art experience or training! I had not painted since my freshman year of h.s. and had NEVER painted on a canvas! I was guided by this idea I received intuitively (very a la Big Magic by Liz Gilbert) to create a space where people could come to "work out" their right brain muscle with art so that they could go back out into the art that is their life and create the change they wanted. It was PURE MAGIC! Since then, I have written four published books (all here on amazon) including The Artist Within (written under my married name Whitney Ferre), Rise Above and 30 Days to Unstoppable! I currently teach online sacred painting workshops (including Paint Buddha, Vision Quest, The Super Soul Flow Meditation Course...and many more) at whitneyfreyastudio.com (and join my MUSEletter at WhitneyFreya.com). I know that ANYONE can paint and the true nature of our creative spirit is to create the ART that is our LIFE in a way that generates maximum joy and love!
