Ward Nash is a financial advisor and the author of Smart Money Habits. His work is dedicated to providing financial advice and solutions to a wide range of readers, aiming to help them improve their financial literacy and reap the benefits this brings. Ward has a degree in economics, business, and accounting, and has worked in the financial sector for over 15 years. He is particularly interested in targeting younger people, aware that sound financial literacy can pave the way for both peace of mind and success further down the line. As a young adult, Ward made a series of mistakes with his money, particularly in relation to his student loans and credit card debt. Even when he began working full-time, his lack of financial management skills led him to make unwise decisions that took time to correct. Working with colleagues with in-depth knowledge and experience in corporate accounting and finance, he realized that even those with sound financial knowledge don’t always have the organizational and management skills to keep their own finances in order. Financial literacy needs to be learned explicitly, and as Ward embarked on this mission himself, he developed a passion for helping others do the same. Ward spends much of his time around his work mentoring young people as they improve their financial literacy. In his free time, he loves being active and spends his weekends playing soccer and basketball.
