A native of Washington, D.C., a trainer, preacher, motivational speaker, writer, mother and grandmother. Wanda Outlaw is the Founder and Director of NE Imani Fellowship Outreach and Training Center. NE Imani was developed to serve those in need. As a published author, her books include: “Three Mountains and A Voice” about a woman’s journey to ordained ministry which encourages women to walk in their purpose. “It Began with a Prayer” is about purchasing a new home and retiring from the government and deciding whether to take her son with her into the new land. “Wall of Hope” is about Wanda’s highs and lows in her healing from breast cancer. Wanda believes in using humor to make it through her struggles. She refused to make the "c" in cancer a capital letter making it a proper noun. She says, "There I nothing proper about cancer!" Her latest book, "Encouraged...for African American women ministers" speaks to the challenges they face in a patriarchal community.
