Verity Jenkins taught himself to read by burying himself in an old blue hardback edition of Winnie-the-Pooh, so no one knew he had dyslexia. As writing was difficult, he excelled at the spoken word. Verity's won numerous awards and trained hundreds of athletes, adventurers and leaders in how to tell their story on the professional speaking circuit. After many years of focusing on personal folklore and the spoken word, one day a four-year-old showed him a very dried bee in her hand and looking him in the eyes, told him she would love that dried bee back to life. At that moment the world of fiction opened up for him. All of us need to be "loved back to life" from time to time, or a least know others who do. Nature, sharing our story and love; each of them has the power to bring us back to life. To celebrate this power, Verity writes Ray Adventure Stories. He has published three books in the Ray Adventure Series, and he has many more on the drawing board. The tap has been turned on, and he'll write until the well is dry. Verity Jenkins writes with a social conscience and tells stories confronting difficult realities with a positive, life-affirming vision and a transformative personal quest. He is an expert on the power of story. Through his novels and online courses, Verity enjoys sharing his knowledge and belief in the redemptive power of storytelling.
