Val has published action/adventure novels; historical fiction; western novels; short stories; a collection of thoughts, musings, and observations; a collection of children’s short stories; and several children’s picture books. He continues to work on many other novels, short stories and screenplays. He is also a strong advocate of early childhood development through the arts, and continues to support all efforts toward helping children discover their own creativity through reading, writing, and drawing.
