Vaibhav Varkhedkar, B. Pharm., M.S., M.B.A., was born in Assam, India, and raised in Mumbai, before moving to the United States in 1993. Vaibhav brings over 24 years of experience in the pharma and biotech industry, especially in oncology (cancer). Out of these, 9 years were in biotech R&D. Vaibhav has consulted on multiple high-profile studies for clients such as Novartis, Pfizer, Janssen, Novo Nordisk, Amgen, and others. His technical expertise is in pharma marketing strategy, demand forecasting, market research, brand analytics, and sales operations. Vaibhav is also a co-author on 15 publications in clinical and business disciplines and also a co-inventor on 18 U.S. patents and more than two dozen international patents in heart disease and oncology. Vaibhav was granted the United States Green Card in the “Outstanding Researcher” (EB-1) Category of Homeland Security and is a US Citizen for over 10 years. Vaibhav has an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, fulfilling the requirements needed for majoring in Strategy, Finance, and Decision Sciences. He also acquired a certificate in Health Sector Management from Fuqua. He also holds an MS degree in Medicinal Chemistry from the college of pharmacy at the University of Rhode Island during which he also completed coursework for the doctoral degree and has a Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmacy) from KMK College of Pharmacy, University of Mumbai, India. Vaibhav loves to watch cricket in all its forms and is a Philadelphia Eagles fan. Vaibhav plays the piano and is an avid aquarium fish enthusiast. He has also acted in a couple of Marathi comedy plays. He lives in Pennsylvania with his wife and two children and a guinea pig named ‘Cinnamon.’ Vaibhav has also published under a pen name of Victor Village previously.
