I taught history, and served as a high school head coach, for 25 years. During my last three semesters in the classroom I was envious of cars that I saw drive by outside my window and when i realized I was jealous of people likely picking up their dry cleaning, I knew it was time to make a change. Rather than putting off travel, and new professional pursuits, I made the leap, and started a 2nd career which involves writing books, podcasting and speaking. I have a light-hearted approach to life and enjoy bringing some levity to what is, for many, a daily grind. I love lifting weights, running, spinning classes, hiking and generally being active which is very fortunate because I eat as though every hour may be my last on earth. I also enjoy traveling and simply enjoying life which will be clear in my books. I am a people-person and I enjoy animals even more. My podcast is titled "Peanut Butter and Passports" and I would love for you to tune in if you are interested.
