Timothy C. Winegard
Dr. Timothy C. Winegard received his MA in War Studies from the Royal Military College of Canada and his PhD/DPhil in History from the University of Oxford. He served as an officer with the Canadian Armed Forces, including an attachment to the British Army. His books include: the New York Times, LA Times, and International Best Seller, The Mosquito: A Human History of Our Deadliest Predator (2019) published in 15 languages; The First World Oil War (2016); For King and Kanata: Canadian Indians and the First World War (2012); Indigenous Peoples of the British Dominions and the First World War (2011); and, Oka: A Convergence of Cultures and the Canadian Forces (2008). Tim is an Assistant Professor of History and Political Science at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction.
