Once weighing in at nearly 290lbs, performing poorly in his professional life, suffering from substance abuse issues, food addiction and interpersonal relationships that were in nothing short of utter turmoil, Timothy Anthony Bean realized that he was going nowhere fast. It was the loss of his brother in a fatal drunk driving accident in 2008 that served as a much-needed wake-up call. He then realized that life is short and spiraling out of control the way that he was, was no way to live. Timothy would spend a year in therapy and substance abuse support before he would finally start to see some positive changes in his life, and before long he was on the right track. He began a personal training program where he mixed cardio with lifting weights three times weekly, practiced yoga two days a week, and also made a practice of keeping his thoughts in a journal. It was then that he discovered his passion for writing. Today, Tim is a successful entrepreneur, is happily married to his beautiful wife, Linda, and is a believer in the tools of self-discipline, mindfulness and healthy living that have helped him become a better husband, son and friend, and through his writing he aims to share all that he has learned with the world. In his books, Tim provides in-depth information and steps that help guide you toward improving unhealthy patterns of behavior that prevent you from attaining your highest goals. Moving beyond general self-help topics, his content zeroes in on approaches and methods that have helped him to solve very specific problems that he has been able to successfully overcome over the years. In addition to finding self-improvement advice that pertains to personal development as a whole, through his forthcoming series you’ll also be able to find highly specialized information on topics such as introverted personality types, alcohol addiction and recovery and social anxiety. Tim hails from sunny Southern California. When not writing, he enjoys hiking, surfing, playing the guitar, and traveling with his wife, Linda.
