How does the human mind work? Why is our brain wired to make us do so many erroneous choices? TZ Ramsøy's path to writing comes through a blend of academic blue-sky research, through clinical neuropsychology, and to applied neuroscience to everyday behaviors. He mixes a blend of true academic transparency and validity with a keen eye for narrative and applicability, all spiced up with parallels from history and society. Ramsøy is the Founder and CEO of Neurons Inc, a global applied neuroscience company. He was originally trained in economics and got his MA in neuropsychology from Copenhagen University. He earned his PhD in neurobiology from Copenhagen University and led the Center for Decision Neuroscience at the Copenhagen Business School before founding Neurons Inc. Ramsøy is also a Faculty of Neuroscience at Singularity University in Silicon Valley, and a Faculty member at SingularityU Nordic. He has published books and chapters within cognitive neuroscience, consumer neuroscience, applied neuroscience, and innovation. His scientific papers have been cited about 2000 times.
