Thomas Kohnstamm

Born in Seattle in 1975, Thomas Kohnstamm started his career as a Spanish and Portuguese interpreter. He moved to travel writing and then to screenwriting and fiction. Thomas' memoir DO TRAVEL WRITERS GO TO HELL? was listed as one of Outside magazine's favorite road books and is in development as a feature film at Vice Films. The Seattle Times called his first novel, LAKE CITY, "a caustic satire" and Publishers Weekly said it's "at once hip, intrepid, and philosophical." He lives in Seattle with his wife and two children.
