Terry Ward Tucker here. Thanks for stopping by to speak. A nice lady from Amazon told me to write about my academic degrees and work experience on this page so that people could get to know me better. And I said you’re kidding, right? And she said no she wasn’t, and I better get my act together or else. So I tried to write all that down. I really did. But I got so bored with my own self that I quit doing anything for two weeks and then forgot altogether I was supposed to do something about this page. So then another person from Amazon got on the phone and told me I better tell all y’all something pretty soon, or I’d never get another sale as long as I live, ‘cause everyone who likes Southern American stories would be going over to those other Southern novelists’ sites and buying up millions of their physical books and e-books that aren’t even mine. And then I said to this new person (Amazon has lots of people) that the only thing anyone needs to know about me is I’m a recovering academic who spends all her time now writing Southern fiction that has nothing whatsoever to do with academia. Thank you, God (who I’m certain resides on the South side of Heaven). Thank you, thank you, thank you, God, for the blessing of time. Well, that’s me. All there is. No more. By the way, who are you?
