Terry Frei

On the heels of his critically acclaimed fact-based novel Olympic Affair, about the overlooked-for-years affair between Hitler's femme fatale filmmaker, Leni Riefenstahl, and American decathlon gold medalist Glenn Morris, Terry Frei returned to non-fiction in 2014 with March 1939: Before the Madness.

Frei's previous non-fiction books are Playing Piano in a Brothel" (2010), 77: Denver, the Broncos, and a Coming of Age" (2008), Third Down and a War to Go (2007, foreword by David Maraniss), and Horns, Hogs, and Nixon Coming (2002).

The Witch's Season (2009) is a roman a clef novel based on his observations and experiences in Eugene as the son of a college football coach in a tumultuous time on one of the nation's cauldron campuses.

He is co-author, with Adrian Dater, of Save By Roy.

Frei also has written three screenplays, done consulting work in the film industry, and taken voluminous mental notes.
