Tammy Marshall is a tried and true country girl. She grew up on a farm in wheat country known as the Palouse. She left a successful career in the big city and returned to her family farm where she now lives. When she isn’t writing, she is feeding her chickens and repairing broken fences. She describes her home as, “the most beautiful place in the world,” with the seas of wheat and rolling hills of yellow canola.” She isn’t the only one. Several big budget films have been shot near her home and many flock to this area to capture this region’s abundant beauty with its rolling hills that look like they hopped out of a painting. Much of her inspiration for her creative work comes from the vast imagination this land gifted her, in this beautiful place she’s lucky enough to call home.
