Storms Reback is the author of five books, including "Ship It Holla Ballas!" (a fast-paced narrative chronicling the rise and fall of online poker through the eyes of its richest and wildest crew), "The Contractor" (the saga of American security contractor Raymond Davis who sparked a diplomatic crisis after he shot and killed two men in Lahore, Pakistan in 2011), and "In Full Color" (the story of Rachel Dolezal, a former NAACP chapter president who identifies as a black woman but in 2015 was "outed" by the media as the daughter of white parents).

He lives in Austin, Texas with his wife, children, and an assortment of animals.
