Steve D. Pountol, a native of Los Angeles, California, now living and working in Pasadena, currently serves as the dedicated owner of an IT consulting and software development company.
From as far back as he can remember, Steve has had a love for the field of technology.
As this field grew and evolved over the years, his love gratefully turned into his career.
First, however, and knowing that he needed to educate himself as much as possible before helping others, he attended from the California Institute of Technology-Pasadena.
With his education in tow, and equipped with essential new knowledge, Steve joined the IT industry.
As he found success in a variety of IT positions, he acquired a massive list of skills that would eventually lead him to his ultimate goals of not only serving his clients as they overcome technological barriers, but also developing innovative programs that fit each and every one of their needs.
Alongside his work in these programs, he also regularly publishes technical books.
Focused on equipping its readers with the tools needed to improve their skills, these books expand knowledge while guiding those interested in Information Technology to success in the field.
Stepping away momentarily from his books and work as an IT Consultant, Steve currently specializes in artificial intelligence and would one day like to launch an experimental laboratory, where he would work hand and hand with the California Institute of Technology.
In everything he does and plans to do in the future, he finds inspiration from the work of various universities throughout the world and his own experience with innovative startups.
Whether he is working with collaborators or guiding our younger generations, his mission is, and will always be, to encourage educational growth, especially in the field of technology. Outside of this and his career, Steve enjoys reading texts on classical Greek culture and outdoor sports. More than anything, and above it all, he loves to spend his free time with his wife and their three children.
