Sheridan Chandler was born in Louisville, Kentucky. She went to Chicago to study Psychology. After graduation, while a resident, saw her dreams vanish. She experienced one of her favorite patient’s suicide. A 17 years old girl did the unthinkable and stopped her fight with a troubled life. It affected her deeply. Her attending physician also closed his cabinet. Sheridan refused ever to get that close again to another human being or ever feeling even a bit responsible for someone else’s actions. She returned to her hometown, and with help from her parents and other influential people, founded a charitable organization to help teens get the education, guidance, and every medical support they need. She is a force of nature at found raising! She tries hard never to get too close to her students, but now and again her heart melts and she no longer follows her own rules. When that happens, she takes a small break and goes pay a visit to her friend, the attending physician in Chicago. They talk for hours and recharge their batteries. The strong bound created between them allows them to move on, to set new boundaries to break. At work she found the love of her life. They have two twins and three pets: Lara- a Bluetick Coonhound, afraid of gunshots, Nero- a black cat with his ear cut in two because he had the misfortune to encounter someone superstitious, and Speedy- a Guinea pig, the mascot of the family. She found other ways of helping people. Now she writes about her life experiences, hoping to help as much as possible, from a safe distance. She likes sharing her success and failures, so that people who don’t dare to ask for professional help may find the input to make a stand and try to change their lives. She has a few projects on her mind, trying her best to cover topics that would help people better understand themselves and what are the steps to follow to get a healthier and happier life. She would like to get feedback from readers, so she knows if she is on the right track! Enjoy reading!
