Sheila West is an avid reader, an adventurous pioneer, and above all is super passionate about a love of life. After the passing of her sister, the will inside her died as well. Realizing the dangerous path, she was heading to she knew she must take action. Seeing the positive effects of one’s good doings, she decided to lift herself through helping others. For the past 5 years, she has been volunteering with cancer patients and their families. Especially during those difficult Covid days when being surrounded by friends and family was impossible, she has been flooded with phone calls from devastated parents and family members who lost a loved one. It was a trying time and the challenges still remain with us today. Seeing the dire need she opened up a support group for family members of the deceased. With the groups’ strong encouragement, she then went ahead and wrote this book with her vast knowledge, research, and experience. Her goal; is to reach as many who are struggling as she did and make their pain a bit more bearable. As her favorite quote states “WE’RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER.
