My father was a career soldier, and I have lived many places--Germany, Texas, Louisiana, Georgia, New Jersey, and France, to name a few. I was ten when my father was stationed in France. We moved into an old house, rumored to have been occupied by Nazis during the war. In the basement was a treasure trove of books that I immediately began reading and have never stopped. I knew, almost immediately, that I wanted to be an author and set out on an adventure. And here I am, fifty... erm ... sixty years later, living the dream. I live in the country with my husband, three dogs, and two cats. I am still seeking, still learning, and still adventuring ... if only in my books.
