“The chances of finding out what’s really going on in the universe are so remote, the only thing to do is hang the sense of it and keep yourself occupied…” -The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy Shawn M. Green is an author who was born in the small town of Jellico, Tennessee but has lived most of his life a little further to the north, in Corbin, Kentucky. He attended the University of the Cumberlands, where he attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and he lives on his homestead with his wife Tristen and their cat named Kitty. Shawn’s working life has been varied, with several managerial positions in large companies that have a world reach. In recent years he has been working in a call center, but his ambitions lie far beyond that. For many years, he harbored the desire to become a full-time author, and, with his wife’s unstinting support, he has made the first tentative steps towards that dream. He now has 3 self-published books in the Science-Fiction genre on Amazon, with the promise of a lot more to come. In his spare time, Shawn enjoys looking after his garden, raising chickens, movie nights with his wife, and thrift shopping. Shawn is also a long time gamer and avid reader, who loves spending countless hours in new and old video games as well as a great book. When he is not playing video games and tending to his homestead, he can be found on a wonderous cruise, searching out some of the beautiful places the world has to offer and often gaining inspiration as he travels. Shawn has also recently taken up graphic design and has started designing book covers and posters, which he intends to use for his own books. His goal is to eventually write full time, spreading some joy to others from the proceeds of his imagination. He hopes to become self-sufficient one day, by growing most of the food he needs on his homestead. You can contact Shawn M.
