Shannon L. Mokry grew up in sunny California and now makes her home in Central Texas. She lives with her husband, three daughters, two cats, and chickens. In 2016 she decided that the publishing industry had changed to the point of not being recognizable. In this new digital world children's books are still cherished hard bound books, but the inside of the publishing world had been revealed. This was the perfect time to put fear aside and pursue her writing career. Following through and finding something to write was easier than she had first thought. She had not been idle while raising her children, she was story telling with them all the time. One particular set of stories stood out when she brainstormed and the Bubbles the Bubble Blowing dragon books were born. The first two books, Bubbles and the Berry Bush and Bubbles and the Mermaid Adventure, are both available now. A middle grade series, is also available with the last book currently in the editing process. Once she gets rolling her imagination knows no limits and she has started a third series. The Little Pink elephant is the first in a series of oddly colored animals. Keep checking back, she has many more books in the works.
