Senna Tagboto was born in Ghana, West Africa. Her father who was a Doctor who owned a private practice and her mother taught Math and Physics in high school. Her primary school teacher, a Welsh woman, Mrs. Jones, encouraged writing, and Senna caught the writing bug when she was 7 or 8 years old. She boldly announced her decision to be an author one day, by standing on the family dining table in her mothers stiletto shoes! As soon as she graduated college, she created 'Playpen, the fun and learn Magazine for children' in Ghana and served as its editor for almost a decade. 'An Inconvenient Shadow' is her first adult novel.
