Sean Michaels

Born in Stirling, Scotland in 1982, I grew up across the ocean, in Ottawa, Canada. Apart from intervals in Edinburgh and Kraków I have lived in Montreal since 2000; it's the place I love best. Working mainly as a music journalist, I have written for publications including the Guardian, the Globe & Mail, the Walrus, McSweeneys.net, Brick, and the Believer. I founded the peculiar music-blog Said the Gramophone in 2003. I like talking to kind and interesting people, and I like stories, very much.
