Sean Kouplen is known for having a natural ability to connect with people. He is an accomplished author with five best-selling books, and hosts a popular nationwide podcast, "Purpose-Driven CEO," with a solid following of 100,000 devoted listeners. Every morning at 8:17 am, Sean leads a daily call-in devotional that reaches over 200,000 people nationwide. During his tenure as Secretary of Commerce and Workforce Development in Oklahoma from 2019 to 2021, with Sean's leadership, Oklahoma attracted over 100 new businesses. Governor Stitt entrusted Sean to spearhead Oklahoma's business and economic recovery. In response to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 crisis, he established the Oklahoma Business Relief Program, providing critical assistance to nearly 9,000 businesses throughout the state. Sean currently serves as the Chairman and CEO of Regent Bank, with locations across Oklahoma and Missouri. With assets exceeding $1 billion, Regent Bank has been recognized with prestigious accolades, including being named one of Inc Magazine's Best Places to Work and receiving the ICBA Central United States Community Bank of the Year award. He has served as the Past Chairman of the OSU National Alumni Association, OSU-Tulsa Board of Trustees, and Hospitality House Board of Directors. He holds board memberships with prominent organizations such as the (OBA) Oklahoma Banker’s Association, Oklahoma Business Roundtable, Oklahoma Manufacturing Alliance, Gatesway Foundation, and Tulsa Community College Foundation. As an elder of Southpoint Church in Bixby, he remains committed to faith and community. Recognized for his exceptional leadership, Sean has received numerous prestigious awards, such as the Journal Record's Most Admired CEO Award. He was honored as Citizen of the Year in Bixby, Oklahoma, and achieved a black belt in Taekwondo. Drawing from his own experiences as CEO, Sean offers practical advice on navigating the complexities of faith and business.
