Scott Craig

Scott Craig

Scott Craig was born in Concord, Massachusetts but lived in five different states and two countries while growing up because his father was in the United States Air Force. Following in his father's footsteps, Scott joined the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at various bases in California, Texas, and Italy. After serving in the military for six years, Scott returned to school and attended Brigham Young University where he obtained a Bachelor's Degree in History, with a minor in Spanish. Scott moved his family to Las Vegas, Nevada where he started teaching high school while earning his Master's Degree at the University of Nevada Las Vegas.

Scott has been a high school history teacher for over 24 years. Although he likes studying all areas of history, his main focus is on World History and his favorite era is WWII and the Holocaust. He has attended several seminars and workshops on the Holocaust which has given him the opportunity to meet and talk with several survivors. He has an immense admiration for those people who survived the unspeakable evil of the Holocaust and have told their stories in an effort to help prevent those atrocities from ever happening again.

Scott currently lives in Southern California with his wife Courtney, their two youngest children, and his pug, Yoda. (His four older daughters are grown and are pursuing their dreams.) When he's not busy teaching school he loves to hike with his wife, research family history, and write.
