Sanjay Singhal, born September 12th 1965 in New Delhi, India is a Canadian Venture partner for 500 Startups Canada and the co-founder of Audiobooks.com. A long-term inventor, student, employee, entrepreneur, and Angel Investor, Sanjay assists startups and entrepreneurs achieve success by investing in them and using his own experiences to reduce risk and commonly made mistakes. With an Undergraduate and Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick and the University of British Columbia as well as an MBA from Cornell University, Sanjay’s successes comprise a life of ambition and advancement. Having co-founded over 6 companies, he remains an ongoing investor in over 20 startups. He has been published in Wired Magazine, has spoken at Web Summit, and even been named to Anokhi Magazine’s annual Sexy and Successful List. His Memoir “Zero to Tesla: Confessions from my Entrepreneurial Journey,” published early this year chronicles the whole improbable journey about how failure does not prevent success, only delays it.
