Samuel K. Dolan is a documentary writer, director and Emmy Award winning Producer. Dolan, who grew up in Northern Arizona, got his start in the entertainment industry at the age of 13 when he spent the summer of 1993 riding horses on the set of the feature film Tombstone. Throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, Dolan appeared as an actor or double in numerous films and television shows before embarking on a career in documentaries. Since 2004, he has produced dozens of programs for History Channel, Military Channel and National Geographic. In 2008, Dolan was the recipient of an Emmy Award for his work as producer on History Channel’s A Distant Shore: African-Americans of D-day. Between 2010 and 2012, Dolan helped develop a series for National Geographic called “Navajo Cops”, which he also directed. Dolan has also appeared as an on camera expert on the History Channel and the American Heroes Channel. He currently lives in Montana with his wife and son.
