Samorn is the Founder and Creative Joy Director of Career Unicorns, where she is known as the “Marie Kondo” of careers. She has helped over a thousand miserable lawyers, doctors, investment bankers, engineers, and other professionals “tidy” their careers and find joy again by landing their dream jobs, getting well deserved promotions, negotiating six-figure salaries, and developing a book of business with clients they love. She has been a presenter at Google, Paul Hastings, UC Berkeley Next Opportunity At Work Conference, the National Association for Law Placement (NALP), the University of Chicago, UC Office of the President, Lao Annual Conference, and Dress for Success on hot topics including: developing your signature personal brand, managing cultural code switching, overcoming fraud syndrome, and sponsoring women of color and first generation professionals. She is a board member of the American Bar Association Career Center and was a board member of the Berkeley Law Women of Color Attorney Network and a leadership facilitator and part of the inaugural class of coaches for the Coca Cola Scholars Foundation. She has published articles with The Recorder, the Daily Journal, the Transcript, and Mental Health America.
