Samantha Henthorn had a twenty-year NHS career as a Registered Mental Health Nurse. After a diagnosis of MS in 2005, she accepted early retirement in 2014. Samantha was about to turn forty and started writing to cope with these significant life changes. Writing became her reason to stay well and she has published twelve books as a multi-genre author. She enjoys putting her twisty mind to good use by writing entertaining human interest narratives in her quirky and sometimes chilling style. Samantha also writes occasional posts for the MS Society (UK) blog. She read Roald Dahl and Enid Blyton as a child, Stephen King and Alice Walker as a teenager, now she reads lots of things. Samantha is 96% Mancunian and was born in Bury in 1975, she has one dog, one gorgeous grown-up daughter and one husband. When not reading or writing, she listens to heavy metal. Audiobooks narrated by Lindsay McKinnon with expert comic timing and strikingly tense intrigue. Samanthahenthornfindstherightwords.blog
