That's it. I'm not writing about myself in third person anymore! That may be all you need to know about me. But, well... all right. I'm American, married to an Englishman, living in Europe with three Spanish cats with Greek names. Having trained my entire life to speak languages, I discovered I had very little to say in any of them. So I became a writer. Now I can make things up with abandon. My reading tastes are a bit eccentric, from Jane Austen to Franz Kafka, from Ursula Le Guin to Naomi Novik. Don't look now, but I may be standing outside a cafe near you. I mean, I really like coffee.
