I will write this less traditionally because I can't seem to write about myself in the third person... so here it goes! ​ My first published book, UNINVITED OTHERS, was inspired by a haunted road trip I took with my sister through Iowa. If you think of Iowa as a flyover state, you are missing out! (Google Villisca Axe Murder House, Squirrel Cage Jail in Council Bluffs, or Mars Hill Church and Cemetery if you think I'm bluffing) ​ I was lucky to find D&T Publishing, an indie publisher, who signed on to publish UNINVITED OTHERS in late 2020, along with the two other books that followed. (SHADOW SLEEPERS, EMPTY WALLS) Check them out here! dandtpublishing.com ​ HAVEN MANOR TRILOGY is a gothic horror story that spans multiple familial generations while taking a hard look at personal demons, addiction and fear. In August 2021, I had the pleasure of having my short story, RAVENOUS REVENGE, published in D&T's anthology THE DIRE CIRCLE. (available on Amazon and GODLESS.com!) ​​ I am seeking representation for my latest novel, GHOSTS OF GREENROSE (working title). A psychological horror set in the 1950s revolves around a young woman, ghosts (of course!), secrets, and small-town corruption. ​ Between triple checking my email and hanging out with the three coolest kids on the planet, I am working on a new gothic horror story about the relationship between a daughter, her deceased father, his best friend and an inherited hotel. ​ As of December 2021, I am an affiliate member of the Horror Writers Association. On a personal note, I was recently diagnosed with ADHD and spent the better part of a year coming to terms with the diagnosis. in 2019 (pre-COVID, thank the stars!) I suffered from horrible HG (if you don't know what that is, count yourself lucky) that put me in the hospital with my youngest for over two months, which wreaked havoc on my life and brought me back to writing. I write what I know, and what I know is weird. Since a child, I've gravitated toward anything unexplained. Give me anything with ghosts, cryptids, aliens, true crime, or magic, and I will devour it! ​ I love hearing from my readers, so feel free to drop me a line on Twitter or through email!
