Russell Holbrook

Russell Holbrook

Russell Holbrook is a writer, musician, and visual artist. Having parents who were avid readers, Russell spent his youngest years gazing at the artwork that adorned the Hardy Boys, Agatha Christie, Frank Herbert, and Peter Straub novels that filled the Holbrook household. Captivated, he wondered what treasures might be hidden between those covers. It wasn't long before a Scholastic book fair and a rabbit named Bunnicula changed his life and his own love of reading was born. Russell's stories have appeared in anthologies such as Mondo Bizarro, Floppy Shoes Apocalypse II & III, Trevor Kennedy's Gruesome Grotesques (Vol. I - IV), and The Classics Never Die: An Anthology of Old School Movie Monsters. He was/is the guitarist and co-founder of Tooth and Nail Records artist Joe Christmas, as well as Chapel Hill NC's Choose Your Own Adventure. He currently plays keyboard in Atlanta-based dark ambient noise trio, Ibofanga. He currently resides in Mableton, GA.
