ROSIE MALONEY and her husband, Bobby, are the proud parents of Daniel, Alexis, and Brody. She is a 1996 graduate of Idaho State University at Pocatello with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and an associate degree in criminal justice. Currently is an account executive at FirstDigital Telecom in Salt Lake City, Utah. Rosie began her commitment to volunteerism as a teenager in Idaho. During her very dark and difficult childhood, it was clear to Rosie that the act of giving to others and helping others, creates a light that shines on all of us. Rosie’s volunteer efforts on behalf of nonprofit organizations are expansive and ongoing. The following is only a partial list of Rosie’s numerous activities: Girl Scout Leader for Stansbury Troop 46; Legislative Advisor for the Utah Parent Teacher Association, public relations advocate and fundraiser for the PTA, Safety Coordinator for the PTA; Chairperson of Special Events at Idaho State University; fundraising for Kiwanis Club and Circle K, outreach for to Key Club, Builders Club and K Kids; participation in the American Business Women’s Association and the National Organization for Women; working with local Utah youth to organize roadside clean-up; working in the reading program for elementary school children in Utah; fundraising and other committee participation for The Road Home, Primary Children’s Hospital, Shriner’s Hospital, Volunteers of America, Valley Behavioral Health, Make-A-Wish Foundation and The United Way.
