I've been into amateur radio for 30+ years. My call sign is N4WSH. My Wife is also a ham and her call is KE4MMD. I started my radio journey in high school when a buddy of mine invited me over to his house to talk "skip" on his CB radio, a Johnson Messenger 123 with a Shakespeare Big Stick. From that night on I was hooked. From a Ham radio perspective, I'm all over the HF and VHF bands just having fun, I mainly enjoy Voice and PSK-31 on 20 & 40 meters, and some occasional RTTY. I came into Amateur Radio the old way, Novice at 5 WPM code, then Technician, then General at 13 WPM code, then Advanced, and finally got the code to 21 WPM and after two tries received my Extra Class License. It took me over 7 years to do it, but it was well worth the effort. I recently released my first fictional Amateur Radio/Christian Prepper book titled, The Grey Ham Series: ParaCW. Book one of this trilogy is subtitled - Accusation. It is available as an eBook, audible and paperback. They can be found on Amazon by doing a search for, The Grey Ham Series. I want to be right up front and say this book may not be for everyone. Even though I'm an amateur radio operator, I'm also an ordained minister, so my books will have references to God, Jesus, and scriptures. That is why I put a disclaimer in all of my books stating so.
