My husband and I were married while he was in the Navy. After he came back from his first tour in 1966, we lived in Virginia. Money was very tight yet we vowed to tithe even if there was not enough money for food. I never went hungry even though the bills added up over what money we had a month. He had to leave on another cruise, we packed up and moved. While heading out, our car threw a piston. We were in a little town, towed to a service garage, and while we waited around a potbellied stove, our car was repaired. I have no idea how we paid for it, but they let us leave, it seems without paying. God has always been the most important part of our lives. I pray that the book ABBA, FATHER, would be a source of understanding to those who have had a hard time putting things in order and together in God's Word. It is written in easy, non-dictionary type words that you won't read a page and have to ask, 'What did I just read?'
