Robert grew up in the deep south, Florida and North Carolina, but now lives with his wife on Long Island, NY. He loves the Florida beaches, the Appalachian Mountains in Asheville, NC, and New York City. He also loves Rock and Roll, Blue Grass, and good old Mountain Music, so I suppose you could say, Robert is both red and blue; or maybe just red, white, and blue. Robert has always wanted to write, but his professional career as a web developer kept him too busy. But now Robert has retired from development and assumes his second career as an author. Robert is a lover of science and believes deeply in scientific analysis and rationality, but he also believes that while science tells us the what and the how, why is a matter best left to faith. While Robert sees the promise of science, he also sees potential dangers ahead. Will science solve our problems and lead us to utopia; or will genetic engineering replace us with manufactured super-humans; or will Artificial Intelligence create a race of robots that decides they just don't need us anymore; or will we simply destroy everything with advanced weapons or uncontrolled technology? Those questions, and our need to understand the human condition, leave an open road for new writers to explore. Let's travel together as we discover the possibilities.
