Born and raised in Mountain West, he was initially in Middle Eastern Studies (BA, Univ. Of Utah, 1978, MA, Univ. Of Chicago, 1985), but also earned my MA in Linguistics (MA, Univ. Illinois in Chicago, nineteen ninety five). He has been a technical translator (mainly German to English, specialized in patents and medical reports) since 1981 and has worked internally since 1986. Now he is also dedicated to the translation of books.
