Rob Wegley was born in St. Charles, Illinois in 1993. Intrigued by the world of literature from an early age, Rob graduated from North Central College with a degree in English Literature in 2015. While in college, Rob acquired a fascination with how writing a story can closely mirror real life. As such, he began to pursue a writing career. While Extraordinary Girl is Rob’s first novel, he has worked in journalism since 2011—currently working for The Runner Sports as a writer, editor, and co-owner. Rob lives and works as a teacher in the suburbs of Chicago. You can frequently find him with his adopted dog—a corgi named Daisy.
