Richard E. Thomas is an award-winning whiskey author, having written or contributed to several books about whiskey or whiskey and cooking to date. He is also a novelist of historical fiction and the owner-editor of The Whiskey Reviewer website. Finally, he also penned a short book about Port wine. A former freelance food, drinks and travel journalist, he prefers to focus on writing books rather than articles for magazines nowadays. When not scribbling, he can be found boxing, hauling a ruck or spending time with his son.
