My name is Richard J. Schrödinger. Obviously, I use a pen name because I don't want to reveal my real identity for privacy reasons. I'm an Austrian astrophysicist, planetary scientist, author, and science communicator. My research focuses on observations in cosmology, stellar evolution, galactic astronomy, bulge, and star formation. I have held numerous positions at institutions at several universities. Since 1990 I have written for many newspapers and magazines. In 2010 I founded a training organization dedicated to helping people reduce their time writing clear and successful papers by informing their approach to structure.
