Richard F. Novak is a retired Professor Emeritus of Pathology from the University of Illinois College of Medicine (Rockford Campus) where he taught for thirty-five years. He is also a sculptor and has eighty works in public, corporate, and private collections. This is his sixth fiction novel and first about the field of medicine.
