In the year 2005 published the author, who was born 1964 in the mining town of Gelsenkirchen in Nordrhein-Westfalen/Germany, his first novel called “Die Saga von Erik Sigurdsson”. Fascinated by the life of the Vikings, their voyages of discovery and their wars of conquest, there was only one possible theme for his first book. As time moved on this book has been made into a trilogy. The learned cabinet maker wrote so far another historical novel and the first volume of a Viking short story collection. Im Jahr 2005 veröffentlichte der Autor, der 1964 in der Bergbaustadt Gelsenkirchen in Nordrhein Westfalen/Deutschland geboren wurde, seinen ersten Roman „Die Saga von Erik Sigurdsson. Fasziniert vom Leben der Wikinger, ihrer Entdeckungsreisen und Eroberungskriegen, konnte nur dies das Thema seines ersten Buches werden. Inzwischen ist daraus eine Trilogie geworden. Der gelernte Tischler schrieb bisher einen weiteren historischen Roman und den ersten Band seiner Wikinger-Kurzgeschichtensammlung.
