The daughter of a Draftsman and a homemaker, R.M. Burthom grew up in various provinces in Canada. She spent most of her childhood in British Columbia before moving to Saskatchewan for a year and eventually putting down roots in Ontario. Burthom's writing journey originated in her early teens. She started out writing children’s stories, then expanded her skills into writing personal poetry and short stories. Recently, she has branched out to writing Paranormal Thrillers. She has always been a huge bookworm of Mystery/Suspense Novels. That is why, she is very excited to finally be following her dream of becoming a published writer. R.M. Burthom is a graduate of Graphic Arts Technology Management and Business both taken at Mohawk College in Brantford, ON. She has been a member of the Brantford Writers’ Circle for five years. When Burthom is not writing novels, she enjoys various hobbies such as crafting, art journaling, hiking, photographing nature, and spending time with her boyfriend and two cats.
