Philip Nork was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. After moving to Henderson, Nevada and accepting a job which left him on the road way too often, he started writing. His first book, Sensitivity 101 ... the Search for Acceptance sold over 3000 copies and was picked up a publisher. They changed the cover and the title to Misguided Sensitivity. It was then that the book was awarded The Gold Standard for Literary Excellence by The Princeton Review in 2012. All Things That Matter Press also published his second book, Life Is a Balance, and it also was awarded The Gold Standard of Literary Excellence in 2013. Since then Phil has self-published 8 more titles. They all have a common theme of 'a person never knows when someone will enter their life and change their horizons forever.' One reviewer also stated that "Nork's books reveal the character of his characters and that makes for interesting reading." He takes pieces of life and weaves in some fiction for a great read. Most of his main characters have flaws and throughout the book they learn from those around them how to improve or at least accept those flaws.
