"THE HOTEL ON MASSACRE LANE" Jerlayne Review: You need to read this book! This book was absolutely amazing. I opened up the book and was immediately hooked. The writing style is faced paced and the characters are engaging. The further I got into the story, the more I just couldn't put it down. This is a stay up past your bedtime and keep reading kind of book! I highly recommend it if you enjoy a good mystery. Sophia (the main character) is quite realistic, as is the situation and circumstances surrounding the hotel. There was no overt need for a suspension of disbelief. Not since Preston & Child's last novel have I enjoyed a mystery this much! "SUNNY KINCAID" PROFESSIONAL COMMENT BY CRAIG KELLEM (Former Development Exec Universal and Fox Studios) "A terrific thriller, rich with sinister, scary, and funny characters. It's a deep, relatable and often tragic character study while at the same time offering a terrific thriller thru-line, eclectic dialogue, and an ironic mix of humor and violence. "SUNNY KINCAID" is one of the very best projects we've ever seen!" (See Video of table read) "THE BOY WHO MET GOD" Jerlayne Review: The Boy Who Met God is a rare book. During the time of C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien it was not uncommon to pick up a book, particularly a fantasy or sci-fi novel, and find out by happenstance that it was a Christian allegory. Long gone are those times and writing of that caliber. With The Boy Who Met God, this style of writing comes back. This book can simply be read as its surface tale, with nothing detracting from it. The reader can enjoy a tale and go on with their day, or the reader can look below the surface and curl up with a page turner that sticks in the mind long after the book has been finished. I found myself talking about this one in depth with my sweetie; we've not had a good book discussion like that in awhile. Be sure to pick this one up! It's well worth your time. SAVING BILLIE VALENTINE Mehl Review: Billie Valentine is a grace-filled story of streetwise kids given a big, growing, purposeful chance for their lives. The youth's experiences illustrate forces that can devour them or propel them to find their dreams and possibilities. The many distinctive characters with great naming and their interactions provide the gamut of reactions from disdain for those that use and abuse to endearing. Swan's great illustrations supply the reader another way to know the characters. Billie Valentine really ought to be made into a movie. LISA.....Color Me Fast The fascinating and frightening story of a dangerously beautiful woman who fell in love with speed. In 2005 over 100,000 fans watched as Lisa Matthews, driving 156 mph in the 44 foot MTI powerboat “Speed Racer,” throttled by the boat’s owner, Randy Kent, became the fastest woman on water. She held that record for ten years, which was the least interesting thing that happened to her. SHORT STORIES.....Fragments--waking dreams caused by a mysterious place, a powerful attraction to a stranger, long dead friends met while reading, a realization, a terrible mistake, a lost love, separation by death, a love that could never be, a circus clown, a soaring hawk, a peculiar combination of scents, a thrilling voice behind me on a bus, a ghost spotted in broad daylight while walking my dog, golf balls left for me to find by my dead brother, a sensuous professor, a brilliant street bum, a dying industrial park, attempting to see what really happened in a time long gone long ago, a dark half-remembered place that was super scary in my childhood. ZRHONDAL.....The planet lives in the Interverse. You cannot apply universal laws to ZRhondal. You can’t observe it with universal senses. What you think you sense in Interverse, using universal senses, may not even be there. You must develop new senses. Before you do you can be dragged along to whatever conclusion amuses Interverse at the moment. THE JELLO GIRL.....Our Gang, now on social security, faces blackmail, murder, and a ghost.
