Peggy Morales, has been creating the script of her book her whole life. Like many of us she has been able to see her life through the various lenses: as a child, as an abandoned soul, as a mother, as a wife and as a friend. In writing A Tapestry Woven- From the Past to the Future, she pulled on some of those early threads to shed light on some of her foundational memories, memories that continue to guide her path and draw clarity to create new paths for weaving her own threads of knowledge for those that follow in her footsteps. From those early years, the theme of helping people has been her guiding light. Peggy spent her working life in service to her community, first in church choirs playing the organ or the piano, then in the health-care field, for sick and injured people and finally to the evolution of assisting people in providing public housing. Peggy devoted over forty years in city governments in New Mexico, Texas and Arizona. She is a retired civil servant and now lives in Phoenix Arizona, where she continues her quest to help people and shed light on family history, only now it is to pass along her own threads of knowledge for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
